Well, it is, and I'm going to do my best to post every.single.day. We'll see how that goes!
Today is a snow day. So far we've worked on letters, built a fort in the family room, played with the neighborhood kids in the snow, made chalk-art...and all before nap-time. I love cozy days at home with my kids!
This little man loves the bouncy seat. We pulled it out of the basement last week, much to his delight!
Why must children's toys be so cumbersome and crazy-looking? Seriously...it looks like Truett could orbit the moon in this contraption, doesn't it?
Yes, Maren is wearing shorts and a t-shirt today. She dressed herself this morning and I guess she's not going to let go of summer without a fight!
And yes, the pictures of Maren are blurry...she was a swiftly moving target this morning. I probably just need to learn how to use my camera a little better.I made these for Life Group tonight...

My favorite is to go on a snowman hunt.
ReplyDeleteNot when the roads are bad but a couple days after a big storm. I like to spot them and then take pictures. The little ones I watch love it.
I am headed to Colorado this week-end. Please save some snow for me.
Truett does look like he could lift off.
I love taking the boys out to play in the snow. I hate being out in the cold, but watching how much fun they have kinda makes it worth it.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite snow day activity is letting our dog out first thing in the morning after a big snow and watching him run around like a kid in a candy store :D It's the funniest thing to watch!
We have a really similar play gym-- they ARE huge!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite snow activity is the hot chocolate that follows the sledding! My mom used to make homemade hot chocolate-- the kind where it would form a "skin" on top. It was soooo good!
