Yellow Cane Chair (Revisited)

It's been a while since I've participated in The CSI Project. When I saw this week's theme (Slipcovers and Upholstery), I knew I wanted to share my sweet little yellow cane chair. If you've been around my blog for a while, you probably saw the original photos and tutorial for the chair back in September. If you're new here and would like more details about the project, check it out here.

This is where I started:

And what I ended up with:
I still love this chair, and we've enjoyed having the extra seat in our family room.

For more upholstery inspiration, be sure to stop by CSI this week!

  1. yay... I'm glad you're back to writing more. And now you've inspired me to revisit my slipcover'd chair and join you!

  2. very cool update! don't you love what a little paint and fabric can do?!

  3. Love this change! I bought the SAME chair at the thrift store (only mine was blue/gray upholstery) and redid it. Yours is so chic! Love it!

  4. I love the chair update! The zebra fabric is so cute and the new paint is so bright and fun. Good luck reupholstering the chair in your daughters room!
